The Brita filter canteens are a great idea but need to be improved by making the canteen itself into a more durable material such as metal because the plastic used is not as strong causing a shorter lifespan. Using metal will make it out last any plastic canteens currently in use especially for outdoor activities. Also having a slot for rope, a clip, or a carabiner on the canteen would be awesome. How about a Brita "feeder" filter for my pet's water dish? I use the water I've filtered through my Brita filter to fill my parakeet's water bottle, it would be great if the stopper was outfitted with a small filter so I could just fill it up with tap water but my budgie would not be drinking contaminated water.

Have a flavor cell inside tha filter to make flavored water.

Brita filters with flavor enhancer. I have drank a lot of name and store brand water. Spring water, imported water etc.. However I have enjoyed some that taste really great almost like well water. I would like to see filters that can get that kind of effect, that can enhace the taste of the water to make it taste like well or natural spring water. I really enjoy that taste and I'm sure many other people out there would really enjoy that flavor as well. They can be in speacially marked packages so that the person can make their choice to have the regular or the flavor enhancer one.
