    hidden valley surprise

to make ordinary salads extraordinary follow these simple steps. if you like croutons you will love these. i use stale baguette bread (but you can use any kind of stale bread you like), cube to desired size, drizzle lightly with olive oil (use any kind you want...i usually go for the cheapest i can find for this...place in a glad storage bag (i use gallon size because i make a lot at a time) and add 1/4 to a full package of dry hidden valley ranch dressing mix (i tried a different kind and was sorely disappointed) and shake well to coat. place on baking sheet trying not to let them touch or be too crowded. bake in oven at 250 degrees until toasted to your taste. if the croutons are crowded and/or even slightly mounded, you will not get the desired effect. most will be soggy and unusable. good luck...it really is easy...and enjoy!

    Go Retro

Bring back Green Goddess dressing. Hey make old new again. Many of us used to eat this as kids and we miss it. Now there is a whole bunch of folks never had it and will like it.

    Chinese flavor salad dressing2

    Chinese flavor salad dressing

If this dressing is a little sweet, a little salty, more creamy, dont forget to  put a little vinegar into the dressing. It would be perfect to make a chinese salad. I would be the first to buy it.

    Flavors

    Flavors

For me I would prefer more unusual exotic flavors. Unexplored ones. Korean flavors with some heat. Armenian flavors which are yogurt based with cumin and mint. Indian curries and spices. There is lots of Hispanic stuff out there today because of our population. I want to see far off stuff on the shelf .

Being Armenian I enjoy these unique flavors. Jajuk -yogurt,garlic,and mint. This is served ice cold with lamb and or just plain pita is fine too as an appetizer. In the summer it is so refreshing.

You're on a roll with "foreign" flavors. How...

You're on a roll with "foreign" flavors. How about Hasta la Siesta?

Given the large population of Spanish and Puerto Rican/Cuban ethnics in our boiling pot of a country, and the acceptance Spanish food has going (just check out all the Spanish restaurants from East to West Coast, New York to California, Michigan (yes, my son says yes!) to Florida (my Spouse says yes).  Must we just have tabasco?  various hot and smoky paprikas and peppers and call it Spanish.  C'mon Hidden Valley.  You are great at dreaming up a lexicon of Spanish flavors in a few herb packets to start, and maybe more complex sauces later?

    Dressings in mini cups

I'm always packing salads or veggies for my son & granddaughter butits like pulling teeth trying to get my containers back that I put salad dressing in. I would love a pack of mini cups maybe 6 or 8 to a pack to put in their lunch bags. This way they can throw the mini cup away and my blood pressure wont go up trying to get my containers back!!

    Organic GLuten Free Salad Dressing
Idea posted January 14, 2013 by Eliza_RInspriational Ideators
    Organic GLuten Free Salad Dressing

There isn't't't't't enough of this "Organic And Gluten Free" Salad  Dressing, they are all synthetic and not made with real organic ingredients, i wish they can make it without sugar and no preservatives nor synthetic ingredients all natural and organic gluten free and no sugar to sweeten it as well. Just plain and simple ingredients that you can read from the back of the package, as well as a glass bottle not plastic and has a "Free Sample"  seal able and durable portable bottle included for to go or in your purse or bag to use when you go  out to a restaurant and don't have what you need in a salad dressing, this is so convenient, a spill proof container. Now that is what i call a Salad  Dressing with a sample to go container included for the price you pay for a salad dressing. Everyone should stick to Organic as much as possible, nothing but pure and natural ingredients!

    Creamy Italian Dressing1
    Idea posted January 24, 2013 by No1Twin
    Creamy Italian Dressing

Seven Seas was bought out by Kraft a few years ago and therefore the Seven Seas Creamy Italian Dressing was eliminated.  I wrote Kraft and they said their Creamy Italian was comparable.  WRONG!  It's AWFUL! Not even CLOSE to the Seven Seas brand.

I have noticed all of the new flavors of Hidden Valley Ranch dressings and thought perhaps they should come out with a Creamy Italian.  I would be the first to try it and give my opinion!!  (Maybe you can call an old Seven Seas worker and buy their recipe)  :)   I have searched the shelves of so many grocery stores and there are just not any choices for a Creamy Italian dressing.

Please consider this in your next "new" item to come out!  I love Hidden Valley Ranch so I'm sure you'd come up with a good one!

    Thanks for your time!
