Why not make Glad freezer containers with departments. When you have leftovers you could make your own frozen dinners and label them. For example: after several nights of meals you have leftovers of, meat loaf, chicken, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, corn, etc. You could store them in a Glad plastic plate with dividers, to make individual frozen meals for each family members liking. This would help you save money by not throwing out small amounts of food and be convienant for quick meals from the freezer.

, tagged favorite, under consideration in Mold removal ideas publicBleach is the number one way to kill mold spores, and the Clorox Company is a front runner in the bleach department. But since bleach is not healthy to inhale, especially when used in confined spaces or over extended periods, it would seem like a good idea for Clorox to make a natural, non-hazardous mold killer using vinegar, tea tree oil or peroxide. Counterintuitive? No, especially if marketed under the Green Works label. This healthier alternative to a bleach based product would allow consumers to use the product on hard and soft surfaces and be safe to use around children and pets. Also, it would not need to be wiped or rinsed. It could be made available in a reusable spray bottle and in larger bottles of concentrated mold killer formula which can be diluted with water by the customer.

I make my own cleaner and fighter for mold and mildew. For some reason our white vinyl siding has areas of mold and mildew. I use an empty spray bottle, a little dish detergent, and clorox. Spray the house with it use the brush and it comes off. I don't have to worry about killing any plants since there is stone there and I don't want plants growing there anyway.

Summer coming and I will be doing a lot of canning. Would be nice to have a little better clean up for my white porcelain stove. I do utlize Cloxox bleach especially after making jelly and canning beets. Believe me it is messy. If clorox was in a gel form it would make cleaning up a lot faster and easier, hey that would even work on white clothes in the wash, and even on coffee cups.

Many of my friends complain about odor in their front load machines. They also lament about spending money for "machine cleaners". I never have had a problem with machine odor. It's because I always use bleach when washing my white clothes. I get beautifully white clothes and never any machine odor. And I don't hae to waste a wash cycle just to clean my machine! My friend Cathy tried it and after 3 months still no machine odor.

I really like to leave our clorox wipes on the counter by the kitchen sink. I wish the canisters were more decorative! I get the feeling that kleneex started out in ugly boxes as well and evolved to something pleasant to look at.

I use equal parts water and clorox bleach to wash my wood deck.
I let it dry and then apply a sealer. The bleach gets rid of all that old dirt and mold.

I use 1/3 Clorox and 2/3 water to fight mold inside and outside. I use a spray bottle for smaller jobs or a garden sprayer for the black and green growth on the outside of my house. I simply spray ,wait 15 minutes and spray again if needed. If the mold is gone just rinse with clear water. This is a safe and environmental friendly solution.

My idea is simple, what it do is you put it in your drain and leave it if you want. As hair or anything falls down the drain it will be caught by the catcher and you will be able to bring it up without the water being clogged up. It will be very easy to clean just by wiping it off. I know everyone got the problem with their teenage daughters washing their hair in sinks and it ends up clogging. Well with this invention you can prevent that cause it will get caught on the grizzles on the product. Even rings and othe item can also be prevented from goin down the drain, and it also can save alot of money by not having to call any plumbers to come and unclog the drain or having to go out and by snakes to stick down there. It also can be used in bathtubs also.

Behind or to the side of your furnace you will have a box with a hose connected to it from your furnace. It is an overflow unit with a hose leading to the exterior of your basement that directs the excess water from your air-conditioner so it does not run onto your basement floor. Lift the small cap on the unit and gently pour into the box one cup of Clorox bleach and replace the cap. When it is time to turn your A/C on the bleach will have freshen the unit and it then flushes thru the hose and removes any clogs in the hose going outdoors. Simple and Easy.

I think most of us know the basics of mixing one part water and one part Clorox Bleach in a spray bottle and spraying the mold until it changes color. The bleach and water solution will not dissolve the mold. You will need to spray a few times and then wipe up the mold with a paper towel and REMOVE it to the trash outside of your house. Further work is needed to address the moisture in your home. If you go online to amazon.com, you can find a variety of low-cost, energy star rated humidifiers with a drip hose that can be secured to a sink or drain so you will never have to empty the collection reservoir. If you set the humidifier on LOW it will achieve the 45% humidity that you need to halt the growth of mold in your bathroom, basement or garage.

When using bleach in laundry I try and be very careful and not splash as it could bleach and or ruin the cloths I am wearing. They now have aundry detergant tabs and Diswasher tabs and I think bleach tabs for laundry would be great. No more worrying about splashing and always the right amount!

In order to get rid of my mold problem I had to see where the moisture problem was coming from. In my case it was the leaky basement. My husband and I patched all the holes and invested in a dehumidifier. I cleaned the moldy area with a solution of 1.5 cup Clorox bleach to 1 gallon of water. Using a spray bottle, gloves, mask, and scrub brush I cleaned the area thoroughly. I then discarded anything wasn't able to be washed and was touching the area. I gave the area a couple days to dry. Then my husband and I sealed the area with a mold resistant/ water resistant paint. I haven't seen any more areas in the year since it was done so works well.
