    Clorox Bombs1
    Idea posted Yesterday by bleach

We all know that bleach stings when it gets into your eyes.  So I was thinking the other day about "Clorox Bombs".  Little containers full of beach.  BUT when you hurl them, they EXPLODE.  The bleach goes everywhere.  If a bad guy tries to take your money, just hurl a CLOROX BOMB at him and watch him go into convulsions when the bleach enters his eyes.  That will stop crime.

    Improvements for Clorox Disinfecting Wipes2
Idea posted February 1, 2012 by Bendi

I like your products and I do not like to complain about a product, so I am designating this message as constructive suggestions:

I have a heck of a time finding the "start" wipe in a new container of disinfecting wipes.  I use disinfecting wipes many times each day in my kitchen and bathroom, but I  have never yet been able to find the "start" wipe and I end up wasting 2 or more wipes in order to find a corner to insert into the dispensing gadget at the top of the container.  My suggestion is to simply put a small colored dot on the upper corner of the "start" wipe at the center of the roll.  Oh, would this save a lot of frustration!

My other suggestion is that you come up with a dispenser gadget that does not come apart with almost every dispensing of a wipe.  I try to be oh so careful when taking a wipe, but invariably the snaps come loose and I have to remove the whole cap from the container and reinsert a wipe through the dispensing gadget.  Oh, would this save a lot of time and frustration!

I telephoned your customer service department to make these 2 suggestions and she asked that I write my suggestion on your website.  The young woman that I spoke with today was one of the most professional, easy to talk to customer service representative I have ever talked to with any company.  She is a  tremendous asset to The Clorox Company as you only have one opportunity to make a good first impression.  I'm sorry I did not get her name.

    Dispense Clorox Bleach3
Idea posted January 29, 2012 by Squeeewky

I would suggest that Clorox offer a dispenser similar to the ones used for liquid laundry detergent.   Customers would not need to lift bleach bottle to pour, could be place on a shelf in laundry area.

I did a trial run to see if this was a good idea.

I put Clorox in a used liquid laundry dispenser container, placed the Clorox dispenser next to the detergent dispenser on a shelf in my laundry area.  Works great, saves time.  No lifting, no spilling.

    Clorox Disinfecting Wipes1
Idea posted January 29, 2012 by diane

     My suggestion is  this:

I love the Clorox disinfecting wipes, however I think you could improve on them by making them bigger, instead of a 7'x8' sheet you should make them a 12'x8' sheet giving our hands more protection from the toilet germs; as it is right now they are too small and my hand is not fully covered. My other suggestion to your product is to make the container more of a designer container so as we can put them on the back of the tank cover whick will look nice...Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my thoughts and suggestions with you...   Laughing

    Sincerely,

    Diane Woodcock

Color Safe Clorox Bleach Tabs for Washing Machine1
Idea posted January 26, 2012 by CoachLongshore

I think you should create a slow dissolving tablet that you can "hook" to one of the drain holes in you washing machine.  That way you can buy a tab, and it lasts, maybe 30 loads and you never have to continue adding the cleaning power of bleach to your laundry!

    unclogs and freshens drains3
Idea posted January 26, 2012 by kell

I use clorox bleach in the bathtub and in sinks and in toilets for freshness and to unclog drains.  Pour  about 1 cup in sink drains and in the toilet and 1/2 to 1 gal in the tub and leave sitting overnight. (try not to run water afterwards) odor will be strong, so do not do more than one room in a night. Works great for hair clogs etc. Much cheaper and works better than a bottle of drain opener.

I fill a spray bottle with 50/50, that is 50% percent water and 50% Clorox Bleach. I use this solution to spray those nasty weeds that pop up through the cement crevices and other areas.

    It kills them fast.

I think it would be great if clorox had individually wrapped wipes just for electronics, such as computers, phones, remote controls, video game controllers, etc.  These commonly shared electronics are breeding grounds for germs and individually wrapped wipes would be convienient to carry to work and school!!!

    santi-wipe1
Idea posted January 24, 2012 by Carl Norman

What I would like to see made is a disenfecting wipe with the Clorox name on it because Clorox is know for "clean" The idea is to have a disenfecting wipe as a single use package to be sold in Airport gift shops or even in vending machines. To be used to wipe down armrests, headrests and trays. With the limited time between flights it is impossible to clean properly,I have heard last week on Dr Oz that they did a test on the airline seats and it was fond to have virures and even MRSA. The last time I flew, I sat beside 2 people who had colds, they sneezed into their hands, and proceeded to touch the trays and armrests. I bellieve, using the wipe would elimate alot of bacteria and germs

    Small stains on white clothing1
Idea posted January 24, 2012 by baniabereziw

Everyone gets small stains on white clothing that never launder out.  Well, there's a simple solution. Take a Q Tip and dip it lightly into the Clorox Bleach. (I take the Clorox bottle and shake it a few times up and down. Using a Q Tip, I absorb the couple of drops left on the cap after it is opened) Use it on the spot or spots.  They usually disappear before your eyes.  Launder immediately.

    Cleaner Public Toilets5
Idea posted January 19, 2012 by Devofry , tagged favorite

Who doesn't hate when you're out and you have to end up using a public toilet? You just never know who was sitting on that toilet before you or the toilet is covered in urine. Yuck! And, those little seat covers just aren't enough to make me feel safe. This is my !DEA....Let's put a disinfectant spray machine in each bathroom stall. It would be filled with disinfecting spray that would come out of a hose that would reach the toilet and you would be able to spray a certain amount to clean the toilet. You could set it up so the businesses would buy the machines and you could also charge 25 cents per use and only a certain amount would be dispensed per usage.

I hope this !DEA takes off...because I sure would pay to use the all new disinfecting bathroom machine! Laughing

    Shoe wipes in a shoe/foot shaped container1
Idea posted January 19, 2012 by anne k

We get all kinds of bacteria, mud and stains on the bottoms and sides of our shoes.  I would love to see a shoe or foot shaped container with a hinged lid that would open up in order to dispense wipes that clean the sides or bottoms of our tennis shoes, etc.  I think that would make people think about wiping the bacteria, viruses or lice eggs, etc. off the bottom of their shoes after walking around in the soccer fields, bathrooms, malls, etc. and before bringing them into their homes!  I would buy them!Tongue out

    Clorox for the laundry6
Idea posted January 19, 2012 by pookey

Because clorox from the container spills on my clothes on occasion, I was wondering if you could consider making either a gel pack or clorox tablet for the laundry.  I have ruined lots of clothes from clorox spilling on me when trying to put it into my washer.  If you still feel that continuing with liquid clorox from the plastic container is something you don't want to stop making; then maybe you can consider making a new spill proff container of some type.

In addition as for your clorox wipes which are hard to feed through the plastic container you may want to consider a different type of container that doesn't make it hard to pull the sheets through.  I have noticed that when you get close to the last few sheets, there is a lot of liquid left from being squeezed back into the container when trying to pull the sheet out.

    Thanks for considering my ideas.

Clorox Fresh Care Towel for Bath/Pool1
Idea posted January 19, 2012 by kthwwgInspriational Ideators
I am just addicted to the Clorox Fresh care towels! And would love to see the product expanded into bathroom towels, washcloth, hand towels, and beach towels as well! I like to wait til I have one large load of towels to do but it always seems there are one or two towels that sit wet and will get smelly between washes! Would love to see the Clorox fresh care towel system implemented into this line of uses! Beach towels never make it to the wash in time before they sit or get tossed in the corner after the kids have been out playing in the pool or sprinklers! Would make a great product to be able to wah them and know they can be bleached and hung up to dry for a few uses outside before I wash them and not have to worry about the smells that seem to find their way into those missed towels all bunched up in the corner and than are forever doomed with funk smell or for the load of towels that this busy mom has to rewash with vinegar to get that smell out because she forgot to switch the load and left them sitting in the washer for a few days! Thanks again

Wish they could have something you could hook up to a garden hose (similar to miracle grow sprayer for yard) that you can spray on your siding/deck to help clean off mold/grime on side of house...It would be much more conveinent than one of those pump sprays you have to put under pressure

    Squeeze Bottle Idea3
Idea posted January 15, 2012 by Kell

My idea is to take an empty hair color bottle and label it Clorox.  Then pour Clorox inside of it.  The long narrow top of this bottle will let you control the amount of Clorox that you apply with just a gentle squeeze.  This will be perfect for cleaning grout around tiles or anytime that Clorox is needed.

    water filtration tablets1
Idea posted January 13, 2012 by Stephanie

I have heard that a small amount of Clorox can make water drinkable. My idea is for you to make Clorox in tablet form so that a person can drop 1 tablet for a quart, 2 for a gallon, whatever it takes to turn questionable water into something safe to drink in an emergency situation. These tablets would make a great addition to an emergency kit. If your water supply is tainted, and water bottles sell out, these pills could save lives. We had a contamination problem at our water treatment facility and all of the local groceries sold out of water in a short time. If that had been a real and widespread emergency, instead of a temporary inconvenience, I can't even imagine how we would have coped.

Until Clorox(R) creates a dispenser for their products, I recycle bottles such as soy sauce bottles to keep bleach on hand in my kitchen instead of the large jug. It sits on my counter, out of reach of children. I also use one for my dish detergent.

    Dispenser and Single Packets7
Idea posted January 12, 2012 by CleanUpGirl

I think it would be really nice for Clorox(R) to create a dispenser and/or single packets for its products. The dispenser should be a stand-alone and should be able to dispense the amount needed for cleaning purposes, i.e., the dispenser should be able to dispense a capful, 1/4 cup...up to a cup.
