Whenever we have gatherings at home, the park, or anywere else, and trash cans are not accessable, such as pool party's. we often resort to either hanging a bag by a nail, or tying to somthing that will hold it, so guest can drop their trash, or recycle. the problem with this is that the bag will automatically close shut do to the pulling of the handel on the bag. and with a hanfull of item s it is hard to fight open.
My Idea is simple and easy......install a 1'' thick adhesive strip in the upper top rim of the bag. it will serve tow purposes. 1- you will now be able to stick the bag on the edge of a table or wall, without the bag closing on you and it will save time when looking for a place to tie down the bag, the adhesive will allow you to stick it anyware. as long as the adhesive is rated strong enough to hold up heavy objects.
I think standard sandwich bags could be improved upon. The first problem is, that with a real thick sandwich it is hard to get into a standard bag. The other problem is that if you take pre-made sandwiches fishing, camping, hiking or to a messy job site where you have no facilities to wash up, you have to touch the sandwich to get it out of the bag. The rule in our family for fishing outings is, that mom (me) does not have to bait her own hook or clean the fish until after lunch. That is so that I can pull the sandwiches out of the bags and wrap them up without eveyone elses dirty hands touching them.
To make it easier to get thick sandwiches in the bags and avoid having to touch your sandwich to eat it, I have come up with an idea. Take the standard bag and put in zipper closure on two side of the bag to form a 90 degree angle. See attached picture for what I envision. There will need to be a tab on each side that you can pull it a part to open it. That gives you easy access for thicker sandwiches. When you get ready to eat it you can pull at the tabs pulling each side of the bag back never having to touch the sandwich, just like you do with a banana.

I use your Cling wrap colored and clear for wrapping individual pieces of my christmas goodies. ie: Fudge, cherry bing bars etc. I always have to cut your cling wrap into the pieces that I want to use and it is very time consuming. I was thinking that if you made them approximately 4x4 or 5x5 square and packaged them in a way that you would just have to either pull them out like tissue or wet wipes. It sure would save me some time during the holidays. I usually use the colored around the holidays but I was out. This is an ice cream pail that I wrapped individually this morning. It took me most of the morning to do this but I had 3 other jars besides this pail.
When grabbing my flimsy cardboard box containing Glad Cling Wrap I must always reinforce the box with tape to keep it from falling apart.
Why not have a permanent, reusable plastic container in which to hold the tube of Cling Wrap? No more wasteful cardboard box and obtain this container FREE with proofs of purchase! The plastic container would also stack nicely with more stability. The refills would be sold separately in 2-packs eliminating tons of cardboard.
What say you?
For alot of us today, we can't necessarily afford to go to a salon every couple of week. so between touch ups I get some color from my local retailer. Now, where does the plastic wrap come in? This works especially good for the lighter colors. To get a better result, after applying your hair color, wrap your entire head in Glad Wrap! It holds the heat in and is easy to manage! Not to mention your spouse will get a kick out of seeing you in plastic wrap! After you have processed for the correct time, rinse well and follow direction of the product you are using. As good as salon color for half the cost!
This product will make the collection of yard debris (grass, leaves etc) fast and easy and can effectively be done by one person. The bag will is round about 80-90 inches wide with a draw string threaded through the bag. You can rake your piles directly on the bag, pull the string, close the bag, wrap the string to secure the bag and your done.
The collection of leaves and yard debris is commonly collected in various receptacles (garbage cans,or modern trash bag for disposal) or manually raked in to a pile and then the pile transferred into modern trash bags. This process is time consuming for individuals seeking to collect leaves from a large area containing a number of trees. But using the Flat Yard Debris Collection Bag is yard work made easy. Just rake/shovel on your leaves, pull the string and move your bag to the curb for garbage day.

a small disposable scented bag in different colors with a hole to hang it in the car or truck for trash or childrens toys, ect. would be so helpful. Childrens bags could have pictures on them, to get the children to use them.

Hi All,
I crurently use GLAD FORCEFLEX Tall Kitchen Drawstring Bags and love them! But GLAD can go farther by hitting the "designer bag" market. I mean, have you seen the movie, "Keeping up with the Jones"? If one person buys it, then the next person has got to have it.
They look great! They will sell very well! I think this is a million dollar idea. Let me illustrate my point. Check out the images below.

My idea is to incorporate a baking soda strip around the top of the bag, like a ring, that would be placed about 3 inches from the top of the bag. it would rest right around the top, inside of your trash can, and i hear baking soda is the best at eliminating odors!! this would deffinately be a best seller especially because you wouldn't have to worry about changing your box of baking soda in your pantry. and also i was doing some research and maybe you could come up with a way to keep the trash bags cool inside because odors desperse and rise in heat much quicker than in cool places. remember people...NO ONE LIKES A STINKY TRASH CAN!! :)
