Food Container with Removable Dividers (US Patent...5Container with Removable Dividers 8893915.pdf
Idea posted December 17, 2014 by Jhon Vargas
Food Container with Removable Dividers (US Patent 8893915).

    Glad Team,

I have recently been granted a US patent for a Food Container with Removable Dividers (US8893915).  I am confident that my product is highly compatible with the Glad brand.

I hope to have opportunity to present this product for possible licensing.

The Food Container with Removable Dividers is a patented food storage system that provides users customizable ways of storing and water tightly-separating food contents to avoid undesirable mixes between solids, semi-solids, semi-liquids, and/or liquids.  This is possible with Removable Dividers with watertight features which slide through tracks in the container and lock forming compartments.  With this product, users can separate their meals at their convenience, and when the time is right, products may be mixed, if desired, and consumed.  Some products taste great when mixed, but they taste best when mixed at the right time.  Food texture, flavor, aroma, and density are all impacted when the mixing takes place. Configurations from 1, 2, 3 or 4 compartments are possible in a single container (depending on manufacturer's specifications).  More compartments are possible depending on manufacturer’s desired target market and objectives.

Thanks for your attention and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

NARROWER WIDTH IN GLAD BOX PRODCT
Idea posted October 10, 2014 by LYMAN WOODMAN
NARROWER WIDTH IN GLAD BOX PRODCT

WE USE GLAD EVERY DAY TO COVER OUR BOWLS FOR LEFTOVERS.

THE CURRENT SIZE OF GLAD IS TOO WIDE IN MANY CASES AND CAUSES A LOT OF WASTE.

I SUGGEST THAT YOU PRODUCE A GLAD THAT IS NOT AS WIDE SO THAT

IT CAN BE USED ON SMALLER BOWLS, AND CUPS, ETC.

ABOUT 1/2 THE WIDTH WOULD BE PERFECT.

    Bib
Idea posted September 16, 2014 by Donna Mills
    Bib

Use Press N Seal as a bib in the car. Pull out one at a time to save your clothes while you are eating on your way to a meeting.  It could even be designed to be used by a man or woman (shirt or blouse).
Use Press N Seal in a restaurant - invisible shield for messy meals.
Use mini Press N Seal bibs on babies as they eat or as a shoulder pad for burping babies.

    Clorox drops

A reusable storage bucket with Clorox filled beads. Clorox like bath beads in a small bubble. Easy on the wash and no stains on the clothes...time released as it melts.

    Shorter width roll of Gladwrap
Idea posted August 7, 2014 by Sherry Meyer
    Shorter width roll of Gladwrap

I suggest they make a roll of Gladwrap that is maybe half the width of current roll. Sometimes there is only a small bowl to cover, and it is difficult to cut or tear off just a small amount of wrap with the current size roll. There would be less waste.

    "Press 'n Seal" masking tape.
Idea posted August 2, 2014 by Jack Gish
    "Press 'n Seal" masking tape.

    To whom it may concern;
I don't know if your company will payout a reward for a new product use and I also don't know if I'm the first to suggest this use.
While working on the foreground scenery for my scale model railroad, I found myself needing a product to cover a hand painted backdrop. The product would have to cover a large area, protect against plaster and paint and peel off cleanly when the process was complete.
I decided to use your Glad "Press n' Seal" (as a masking tape) which delightfully did the job with no damage to the original painting.
I plan to introduce this process to my fellow railroaders but wanted to tell you first.
If you are interested in seeing the pictures of the work, please email me at
aitcho87@yahoo.com as I am not able to attach them all to this email.

    Thanx

    Elastic Glad Trash Bags
Idea posted July 15, 2014 by Lindsey Chen
    Elastic Glad Trash Bags

As a frequent purchaser of glad bags and frequent cleaner of my kitchen, I have come up with a new idea that I think is innovative, would save time in the kitchen for many people and is very convenient.

Instead of the orange drawstring band around the top of the white kitchen garbage bags, you should make an elastic band instead that ALSO has a drawstring. That way when people, including myself are changing the pages, we can easily slip the bag over the trash can and it will stay tight (and look nice). This will save time since they won’t have to pull the drawstring tight to fit around the top of the bin. This is honestly the most frustrating parts of changing the trash bag. It’s super annoying because I feel like it’s make-shift for what’s supposed to easily fit. I think the trash bag should still have the drawstring so when you take it off, you can easily close it to throw it away.

Yellow drawstrings for color deficient adults
Idea posted July 11, 2014 by Chris Schneider
Yellow drawstrings for color deficient adults

According to the National Institute of Health (http://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/color-vision-deficiency) 8 percent of males and 0.5 percent of females are color deficient.  That is approximately 9 million adult males and 595,000 females.  As one of those millions of men, I struggle every trash day to find the red drawstring hidden within the black trash bag. Perhaps the designers would consider a more contrasting color, such as yellow.
