A great way to make your cleaner last longer is to put part clorox and part water in a spray bottle and use that all over the house. I use it on my floors to get stubborn messes up that my kids leave behind. Also on my counters, stove, sink, tub, anything you would use store bought cleaner on. Its a great and simple way to save money and keep your home clean and free of germs!
I love this product. It really keeps the bowl clean and smelling clean but what I would like to see is a device that will keep the tablet in place and not move around in the tank. Perhaps a non corroding device with holes which can hold the tablet and somehow be draped into the tank while being attached to rear side of the tank by means of a hook or something. I'm currently using a small net which holds the tablet which in turn is being submerged into the tank and attached by a large paper clip which is hooked over the side of the tank from the inside. So the tablet still does the job of disinfecting while the contraption keeps it in place. With the lid over the tank you can't even see the hook attached to the side.
The reason i did this is because the tablet would sometimes move from its corner spot and get caught between the valve seat and the flapper. This would prevent the flapper from closing and would leak out and waste water. I would often hear the constant hissing noise from the tank telling me something was wrong. Another problem would be that the tablet would fall and get stuck in the flush tube which would cause water level problems in the toilet bowl.
Pack Clorox in small packets like they use for dishwasher soaps. Seniors have a hard time picking up a heavy container of Clorox but buying it in smaller sizes is not cost effective. I bought a smaller bottle which I use for everyday use, filling it from a larger container. (This may be cost effective but I still have to lift the larger & heavier container, plus there is a chance of spilling some.)
I suspect you already know how to make Clorox into a powder rather than a liquid.
Regardless, I will comtinue using it as I have for all these years. Thank you
My doctor told me to soak my feet in a bleach solution to get rid of the fungus on my toenails and that it will turn the nails white. So the other day I grabbed the Clorox Anywhere Surface Cleaner and sprayed it on my toe nails vs. having to soak my feet. The Clorox product has the right solution. And I thought it would be a good idea to have a spray just for foot care. Well in the mean time I will just buy a small spray bottle and use your Clorox Anywhere Cleaner myself. Thank you!
