Front Load Washing Machine Seal Cleaner74.7

    Title of Your Idea:
Front Load Washing Machine Seal Cleaner
    What's Your Idea?:

I own my first front load washing machine.  I never had an issue with smell or cleanliness of my top load machine, but now find that my machine will retain a smell.  I have found one product that deals with that issue, but my other issues are that water traps in the rubber seal with lint, and sit there, as well as the rubber seal that goes around the entry and up to the door, has a gross, brown looking stain.  I wish there was an easy application product designed to remove the stain.

Clorox Outdoor Mold & Mildew Blaster Kit25.0

    Title of Your Idea:
Clorox Outdoor Mold & Mildew Blaster Kit
    What's Your Idea?:

A spray Gun that connects to a regular home garden hose with a pinched high velocity fitted nozzle.  Underneath the spray gun just in front of the trigger is a threaded cleanser attachment section in which you can screw a reload canister filled with a hard or powdered crystalized biodegradable concentrate, that time dissolves with the mixture of water pressure from the garden hose.  About 1 to 1 1/2 hours of spraying each reload.  The cap from the cleanser canister can be flipped over where there is a threaded insert that is the same width of the reload canister threads and can be used to plug the gun for rinsing.

Environmentally friendly cleanser be used for blasting mold & mildew from: Aluminum & Vinyl siding, paint, stucco, brick, stone, sidewalks & driveways, shudders, roof top shingles, rain gutters, windows, doors, wooden decks, swimming pools, and more!  As much humidity and mildew as it is in Florida, I would like to start a pressure wash business out here, especially in the summer and spring!  So bad that if you don't clean your toilet bowls here in about two days it'll be black with mold by the 3rd day guaranteed! Imagine what I see growing outside in all this hot topical moisture?  Woah....!

    Cleaner Public Toilets64.3

    Title of Your Idea:
    Cleaner Public Toilets
    What's Your Idea?:

Who doesn't hate when you're out and you have to end up using a public toilet? You just never know who was sitting on that toilet before you or the toilet is covered in urine. Yuck! And, those little seat covers just aren't enough to make me feel safe. This is my !DEA....Let's put a disinfectant spray machine in each bathroom stall. It would be filled with disinfecting spray that would come out of a hose that would reach the toilet and you would be able to spray a certain amount to clean the toilet. You could set it up so the businesses would buy the machines and you could also charge 25 cents per use and only a certain amount would be dispensed per usage.

I hope this !DEA takes off...because I sure would pay to use the all new disinfecting bathroom machine! Laughing

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes Easy Refill Packets33.0
Idea posted March 15, 2012 by EOBrien , tagged favorite
    Title of Your Idea:
Clorox Disinfecting Wipes Easy Refill Packets
    What's Your Idea?:

My idea is to offer refill packs for the canisters of Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. Once a person buys a few canisters (Costco usually offers them in 3-packs), the need to replace the entire canister is wasteful.  Instead, Clorox could offer rolls of the wipes inside thin, sealed plastic bags that could be opened and inserted into the older canisters.

It seems this would offer an environmentally friendly means to sell the product.  Less plastic and paper would be used in packaging.  Additionally, more refills could be packed in a given space than the whole canisters.  A 6-pack refill could be offered for 1.5X-1.75X the cost of the current 3-pack canisters, and would take up about the same space - which would save money in both shipping/transportation charges, but also floor space at the retailer.

    Title of Your Idea:
    Clorox Fogger
    What's Your Idea?:
I believe I have a great product idea. I think it would be a great idea to make a disinfectant foggier. This foggier would be wonderful for schools, homes, work place and so on (the list is endless). I think this product would be beneficial for any of the above places that have experience a breakout with the flu or any other sickness that may be affect people. You could set the foggers off during the weekend to help kill the air borne germs that may be in the air and contagious. If this is something your interested in let me know because I am a huge fan of Clorox and I think this would be a great addition to your family.

    Thanks,

    Car Wash Wipes5.0

    Title of Your Idea:
    Car Wash Wipes
    What's Your Idea?:

enlightened This is not a new product idea.... It is a re-packaging idea. I use Clorox Clean-up to get the sticky black stuff (tree sap?) off of my car. I have to park under the trees and over time this black build-up clings to my car and just washing the car doesn't get rid of it. One day, when I was cleaning up the inside of my car after a dog transport run, I accidentally swiped the black sap with one of my Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. The black stuff was gone in that spot... just like that! No scrubbing or anything. I got excited about it! I had scrubbed that stuff before until my elbows ached. I ran into the house and got my Clorox Clean-up spray. Sure enough.... easy as pie.... it removed the tree sap with absolutely doing nothing more than wetting it down and rubbing it back off with the wipe! My car looks Brand New!! You could re-package this as an outdoor vehicle or vehicle accessory wash product that removes tree sap. It could be sold as a large kit in stores and as a one-time use product in carwash vending machines. Instead of the smaller Wipes it could be a larger shammie sized or paper-towel sized wipe.  Seriously.... Just try it. It will amaze you, too!

    Clorox Caddy55.0

    Title of Your Idea:
    Clorox Caddy
    What's Your Idea?:

Sometimes it can be cumbersome carrying and organizing the necessary cleaning products for a job around the house.  It would be great if there was a bucket organizer like hardware stores sell that organize tools in a bucket.  If a bucket organizer was developed for cleaning products it could be called a "Clorox Caddy".

The Clorox Caddy would be sized to fit about a 10 quart bucket since the 5 gallon buckets that hold the tool organizers are probably too big.  The Caddy would not have any pockets sewn on or maybe just a couple pockets sewn on for standard items like a bottle of spray cleaner.  The reason that the Caddy won't have pockets already sewn on, is that each person usually has a slightly different combination of cleaning supplies, which means each person has slightly different needs when organizing their cleaning supplies.  Instead of pre-sewn pockets, the Caddy will have vertical industrial strength Velcro strips sewn on the sides of the Caddy both on the outside of the bucket and on the inside of the bucket.  The Caddy will come with several squares and rectangles of mesh material that will also have industrial strength Velcro.  The mesh can then be applied to the vertical Velcro strips to create pockets and loops as needed.  The Caddy could even come with over-sized pieces of mesh that could be cut to size.  The reason the pockets would be mesh is so that the cleaning supplies like brushes, gloves, and sponges can have a chance to air dry if they are still damp when being stored.

    Clorox Cleaning Mitt35.0

    Title of Your Idea:
    Clorox Cleaning Mitt
    What's Your Idea?:

It would be great if there was a "mitt" that would hold a Clorox Wipe.  Dusting mitts are very handy for cleaning surfaces since you just glide your hand over the surface.  A "Clorox Cleaning Mitt" could be very useful.  The mitt would have two surfaces.  The one surface would be coated with silicon.  The silicon would not absorb the moisture from the Clorox Wipe, and the silicon would be heat resist if the mitt was being used on a warm surface, say in the kitchen.  The opposite surface of the mitt would have a scouring material similar to non-abrasive Scotch-Brite Pads.  That way, if the dirty area needs to be scrubbed to loosen the dirt, you just flip the mitt and scrub before you continue cleaning.  In order to hold the wipe on the mitt, grippers could be inbedded in the mitt similar to the grippers on a Swiffer Sweeper.  The mitt would make it easier to clean contoured surfaces such as sinks, sink pedestals, the exterior of toilets, and cabinets among other uses.

    Disposable Potty Pad/ Toliet Liner25.0

    Title of Your Idea:
    Disposable Potty Pad/ Toliet Liner
    What's Your Idea?:

Picture this if you will ladies and gents.  You've just spent the last half hour scrubbing, wiping, and mopping the bathroom.  You stop to admire your hard work and turn off the light only to walk back in again in an hour and that's when you notice it.  Splatters around the base of the toilet.  I think we all know what those splatters are.  How does that make you feel?  Me?  It irks me something awful.  Now maybe you have one of those mats around the base of your toilet that catches those splatters so you don't always notice it right away.  After awhile though your mat can become dingy and smelly.  Or perhaps you are the parent of a potty training toddler.  As a parent myself I know that accidents do happen. So what can we do to solve most of these dilemmas?

A disposable toilet liner (No product name as of yet).  Basically,  it is a disposable liner to put around the base of the toilet to catch most of the splashes and splatters.  Pretty simple to make.  The bottom would be a leak proof material.  The middle a spongy absorbent material and the top would need to be a porous material with maybe a light scent to mask and unwanted smells.  To secure the liner around the base you could use a sticky clasp or maybe a diaper like clasp.  Product should not be so flimsy that is moves easily around the base.   Also recycled materials could be used to make this liner.  A win-win for everyone.  I believe this would be a wonderful product for parents of potty training children and cartoon prints could be added to the liner for more fun.

To my knowledge, I've not seen any product like this on the market and you can bet your bottom dollar I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

    Removing nail polish from carpet25.0

    Title of Your Idea:
    Removing nail polish from carpet
    What's Your Idea?:

Nail Polish is one of those items that lots of women love to wear. But it never fails that we drop it, on the carpet, on our clothes. One of the hardest things to do is get nail polish out of carpet.

It would be great to have a spray or paste that will break down nail polish without discoloring the item the nail polish is on. Problem with most items on removing nail polish is its takes lots of elbow grease to do it. And you run into the problem with it discoloring the whatever you got nail polish on.

Nail Polish is basically paint, like what your car is painted with. So if you can clean up paint, why not nail polish too? It needs to be either a spray, or paste that you apply to the mess you made, leave it can come back and wipe it back up without causing damage to the area around it. Or make it so you can vacuum it up once you are done to be sure that it has removed the nail polish as well as it didn't cause any problems to carpet bed. Pet safe would be nice too.

Here is a link to some of the ways people are using now to get nail polish out of carpet.
