I chew gum every night before going to sleep, and sometimes when I take it out of my mouth, it doesn't make it onto the dresser, or wherever. So, sometimes I'll find it on the rug, or this last time, somehow it got on me and my sheets. What a mess!
The thing about gum is that it's really sticky, and if it has color, that seeps into the fabric. And I really don't care for the turpentine type removers, or Goof Off because of the smell, especially on my bed sheets.
So the other day, I only had 409 and no other degreasers and decided to try it on the gum. It did a great job on the rug! It worked really fast, and was easy to use, with little smell.
Then I used it on my sheets. The gum was smeared across the sheets in many places. I kept putting the 409 on it, let it soak, and after a few rounds, it got all of it off. I can tell you, I was definitely impressed.
This is a new use of this product for me, and I'm glad I discovered it. Why did I discover it? Because I didn't happen to have any other degreasers on hand. Lucky us, yes?
I use a Gallon Bucket , Sponge and spray the Base Boards as I go . Cleans so well and also does the job better than any other product I have ever tried!

My idea is to leave it as is, and don't ruin a good thing.

would be great to push a button while scrubbing and have the cleaning agent dispense directly on cooktop AND have it actually work on cooked in boiled water that collects in an ugly ring on the top of the range.

Getting older, it's harder for me to clean these areas. I think a mop in the shape of a large paint roller would be easier for older people, and younger people alike. It would have a long handle, a roller either filled with 409 wipes, or it could have an area to hold liquid 409 with a button to press that would put the liquid onto the roller. Clorox could also be used for this kind of product. You could also sell replacement rollers with 409, Clorox, or any other cleaning product. This would definitely be a unique product, and one that older people would love, and younger people too. These days, quick is the way to go, and this product would be a perfect fit. This product would definitely save people time, and still clean their house efficiently.

It would allow the product to remain on the surface a bit longer to allow for easier cleaning.

I have used several of the other brands of foaming bathroom cleaner, but always go back to good old 409 because it gets the job done...every time!

Thanks,
