I am looking for a solid (granule or powder) optical brightener / fluorescent whitening agent that is white or off-white in appearance. I am familiar with DAS-type brighteners and DSPB-type brighteners, but when they are combined with a small amount of water and fragrance, they tend to give the overall powder a yellowish appearance that we want to avoid. I would like a white powder/granule that will result in an overall white (or off-white) appearance to my finished product.

We're looking for non-ionic surfactants, and their combinations, to use in a TTW laundry application. Preferred candidates would be peroxide stable. If you have expertise in this area, or have surfactants you think would be a good fit, please respond.

Marketing seems geared toward moms. What about men and singles? What about the college market? Competitors give college bookstores samples to give out at the start of each semester. A good number of college freshmen have never been taught how to do laundry. Clorox should teach them. Also, Instead of just focusing on how mom's can build a clean and healthy household, how about reminding 20-something single guys that a clean home and clean laundry are way more attractive than pickup lines? If Clorox wants to grow with younger consumers, there has to be marketing that they can relate to.
