Title of Your Idea:Put your Kingsford Label on steaks sold at SupermarketsWhat's Your Idea?:I notice when I go to the grocery store, many steaks have a label such as "PURE ANGUS BEEF" "NOLEN RYAN BEEF" - which Nolen Ryan is the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. Okay, so it is a selling point for people shopping in the store to purchase a steak or meat that has a special label on it letting them know it is a product that is backed by a company they trust.
Well, if Kingsford struck some deal were you guys put your label on steaks sold at Wal-Mart, Kroger, Albertsons or Tom Thumb (Safeway) for example you would be really making a smart move. Why? Because everytime someone picked up on of your steaks and saw the Kingsford Label they would automatically think about barbacuing and purchasing other Kingsford products like charcoal to have a BBQ with. Otherwise they might cook the steak on a skillet and not have the charcoaling idea in mind.
I think this is an excellent idea and it is worth a $1,000 prize, which if I won this prize, I would celeberate with my family by purchasing Kingsford charcoal and having a steak party as well as catch up on a few important bills I have. Thank you for letting me share my idea, hope to see your steaks in the stores.

Title of Your Idea:Odor AbsorbtionWhat's Your Idea?:Although I love Kingsford charcoal for my grilling activities, I also learned another way to enjoy charcoal. About 8 years ago I moved into a fairy new house complete with appliances, slightly used. For some reason the refrigerator had an terribly obnoxious smell that I couldn't identify or find anything it could be coming from. I tried absoltely every cleaner somone suggested to me. I took the back panel off and searched everywhere to no avail. I heard somewhere that charcoal would take out odors, but was skeptical about this odor. I tried putting charcoal in and into the bottom of my refrigerator and the smell went away...Thanks Kingsford!!

Title of Your Idea:Storage for Kingsford CharcoalWhat's Your Idea?:I find a real need for a waterproof storage container for Kingsford charcoal. It would need a scoop to get the charcoal out. I thought it would be nice if it did a double duty by providing a place to sit, either while grilling or while eating. It could be used while fishing, hunting, camping, or entertaining. It would be extremely portable, have bold Kingsford logo, be compleytely waterproof. Year around your charcoal is sitting right next to your grill! It boldly tells the neighbors that you are a proud Kingsford Charcoal user.

Title of Your Idea:CHARCOAL STARTER BUGSWhat's Your Idea?:I would create a worm made out of metal with presoaked strings of lighter fluid on the side. You would take a piece of string, place it inside the worm, and put the worm underneath the charcoal keeping the top of the string above the charcoal. Then, you light the string and as it burns all the way down it turns on the charcoal with minimal effort.

I take a Kingsford bag of charcoal and put them in several platic container puched with wholes. This absorbs the humidiy in my garage , closets, in my shed in the backyard. This idea has countless places to put the container. So, Kingsford could come out with a product already prepacked in a refillable container.

Title of Your Idea:Stinky room/car?What's Your Idea?:Put a few Kingsford briquettes in an old cotton sock. Hang in an inconspicuous place. Voila! a cheap room deodorizer.

I would like to see individual wrapped bags of briquettes, preferablly measured at one pound. The individaully one pound bags can be sold individually or within a three or six pound bag.
The packaging material of the one pound bags can be paper already doused with a flamable material. This would allow the user to simply set the one pound bag into the grill and safely lit the corners of the bag aflame, without ever having to touch a single briquette.
The one pound measured bags are ideal for small outdoor cookouts, or for a couple, or for those single folks, or for those folks that are presently without an expanded social network. The individual bags are not messy to the touch, and can be used as a stater or if necessary can be added too later when unsuspecting guests arrive.

Title of Your Idea:Kingsford Briquette ScoopWhat's Your Idea?:Having taken briquettes out of the bag last night for a barbeque, I presented myself to my guests looking like a chimney sweep. This situation gave me the following idea for a scoop that would make it easier to get briquettes out of the bag and not leave users blackened from fingernails to elbows.
A plastic lined, bowl shaped center in a barbeque mitt with a cupped plastic scoop on the end of the mitt would allow users to put their hand into the mitt and scoop out the required number of briquettes in two or three passes. The briquettes would go into the bowl shaped center of the mitt and could be placed into the barbeque, even if the existing coals were already hot.

Have you ever hated how long it always takes briquettes to be temperature ready before you can put steaks on the grill? I usually have to wait 20-35 minutes from the time I light my briquettes until the time they are coals cool enough for me to put a steak on the grill without scorching it. It has to have a little ash on the top as to top crust cools. But what if I know a way to get the briquettes to cool down and be ready from the time you light the birquettes and put your steaks on the grill in just 9 minutes? More than 50% faster!!
Now you can when KINGSFORD APPROVES MY IDEA TO CREAT THE NEW "FAST & READY" BRIQUETTES. They are Match Light as well for easy lighting up. Only difference is their shape. By making a DOUBLE PYRAMID SHAPE (octahedron) the briquettes get ready for steaks faster than ever (as they get more oxygen to each briquette) because this new scientfic approach to changing the shape of each briquette made makes a hell of a lot more sense than the common pillow shape. so my kids love making smors and there not to fond of the idea of making them in the over or microwave umm you should make a easy/fast to light item that wont let out bad fumes to people so that one can make smores on there grill Kingfords backyard Smores !!!
bet those would sell fast manny people like smores and you know how kids can definetly point something out to parents (your customers) if they like it and im sure the simple picture or word smores would get there attention
