Onions and charcoal both work great at absorbing mold and mildew smells and odors. For the onion cut in half and place on plate for odor absorption. For the charcoal put a few loose pieces on a plate. Make sure to keep both out of reach of children.

If I ever run out of plastic gloves and need to use someting as a substitute in a pinch, I will just put a Glad plastic sandwich bag on my hand (or over it) and then do whatever task I normally would until I can get some plastic gloves. I have done this many times when I am cleaning or using a cream, sauce or lotion I don't want touching my hands and it works perfect!

Pine-Sol is so popular and has such a clean smell to it, so why not make a line of Pine-Sol scented candles. They could be small candles sold at a very reasonable price so more people could try them. They could be sold in each different scent. Particularly if there ws a way to get the disinfecant airborne...I'm not sure what the science behind that would be but it's a thought.

When I'm needing to frost a cupcake, cookie, cake, or treat and I don't have a pastry bag handy, I use a glad sandwich bag. I snip off a corner of the plastic bag and then put the frosting in the top of the bag and close. I can use the bag just like I would a regular pastry bag to frost and pipe and decorate. It has come in very handy for me many times in a decorating pinch! Thanks Glad for your many uses!

I always make sure to fill my ice cube trays full of water from my Brita water pitcher. I want to make sure all my water and ice cubes are clean and natural tasting and thanks to the Brita system they can be!
