Bella - no surprise it was won by a group like MIT, but isn't it interesting to see an elite defense department unit use social media and crowdsourcing as an experiment for future tactics.  You could envision similar methods used for homeland security and anti-terrorism.  Sort of a national neighborhood watch program.  Pretty amazing.

Great points, Cesar.  The success or failure of a challenge put to an outside open innovation intermediary, can be decided by the clarity of crafting the challenge brief, before any work has begun.
