     Hi Linda,

Very interesting.   A couple of questions .....

Why foil?  Is it the best material available?  Is this a one use product, and is the foil packet replaceable?

    Thanks,

    Sam

Great tips, and probably not just for toddlers.  As my kids got older letting them pick out the (relatively healthy) snacks was their favorite part.  And for some reason food alwyas tastes better in a dark theater.

OK.  Took Deb's advice as my family's sports season is hitting full stride with ..........

    • Soccer camps - A week of the kids running around and getting AstroTurf burns
    • Life guard training - Getting a teen to unknowingly be employed this summer
    • Ultimate Frisbee - Tournaments every weekend
    • Gymnastics - These meets are the longest 12 hours days you will ever endure. Crowded, bad seating, lousy food, all to watch your precious child flip in the air for 2.1 minutes.........  but worth it of course!
    • Racquetball - State championships in San Diego so dad will get some beach time (hopefully)
    • Scouts - not really a sport, but they do something (cycling, hiking, camping) every weekend

This is the Dad's version of Deb's Survival Tips......

Deb Tips                                                        Slight Modification For a Dad

    • Keep your piggies perfectly                      Buy athletic shoes (men avoid looking at their bare feet)

    • Hit the gym!                                                   Hang out near some Gym machines, then read a soggy newspaper in the sauna

    • Matinee mania.                                  Rent the "A-Team" and cheer the explosions

    • Embrace your inner Martha Stewart    Do a "Diners, Drive-in and Dives" favorites tour and eat somthing huge

    • Blog!                                                               Respond to a Blog and use lots of bullets so you don't have to type as much

I should have known to check the website.  Lots of products..............   my favorite is Kingsford.  The only charcoal briquette I use.  Using a gas grill is just not the same...

    Thanks!

PH - Do you have a favorite Clorox product?  Is there a list of all the products Clorox makes?

Sunny side up works best because the egg whites take on the green dye so well that they almost glow.  You could dye just the yokes, go green hard boiled, or scrambled but it seems like you have to use more dye.

Kids liked it so much we may do it again even if its not St Patricks day.

Better hours....better work..... less tress........  than working for a firm.

Plus I get more time to make green eggs and ham for my kids on weekends!  Its an easy choice.

"Frugal" and Clorox Products are almost synonymous.

As a "Military Husband" I may be somewhat unique, but probably face the same trials you military wives face.  No deployment yet, but my wife is taking a military business trip................ to Hawaii............  while I stay home to tend the kids.  Would much rather her go to a warm tropical paradise than say, North Dakota .............(ya right).

Love the story and the photo.

My middle daughter was named after our best friends, a married couple by the names of Noel and Lanie (short for Melanie).  Our daughter's name Noelani was a tribute to our friends, but when people ask we usually tell them it's a "Hawaiian" derived name.  Laughing

There are a number of plant based gums and thickeners that may work depending on the application and how long it needs to last and how hard you need it.   Also, if you want it activateable with water or just exposure to air.

Do you have samples of the 'Stimulation Videos"?  The one linked above seemed like a general info video.

In a recent Boy Scout magazine article on emergency survival tips, they recomended using white cotton underwear to start a fire when in a pinch.  They authors tested several well known fire starting survival techniques and the white cotton underwear won hands down.

May not be something that you want to do at the family campfire, but in an emergency, at least you'll know those tidy whities can come in handy!

Mr Petrin - Interesting claims made in this article.  As Mr. Blakely mentions above, there is value if they provide all the benefits mentioned.  Much work has also been done with nanoparticles in films to provide the blend of features needed.  See my company below.
