There is not an EASY in-line under sink water filter on the market that I can find. You would only want it on the cold water side. have standerd Kitchen or bath sink supply line fittings. (Or come with an adapter for both. Once installed come with easy to change and afordable replacement cartriges. If you make this I think you would grab a huge share of the bottled water market.

Thank you for sharing a breakthrough idea! First of all, why do you see a need for inline water filter under the sink? How about Brita faucet water filter? Doesn't it serve your need? Inline water filter system may be pretty complicated to install, and it may be a lot more expensive. How much more do you anticipate to pay for inline water filter system versus faucet water filter?
