I was grilling at the beach over the weekend and a huge storm came up. Although the charcoal inside remained dry. The bag became soaked. When I picked it up the bottom gave way and all the coals fell on the sidewalk. It made me think that the bags could use some Poly fibers to strengthen thema nd make them waterproof.

Thank you for sharing an excellent idea! I was up at Alaska fishing town and same thing happened. It would be great if Kingsford's packaging is waterproof! Let's build the idea further. Do you want the whole bag to be waterproofed or do you think including a waterproof bag inside Kingsford packaging would be a good idea? Thank you for your feedback!

I think the whole ba could be made like a Grass seed bag and be waterprooof. However, many people burn the charcoal bag to start coals so the plastic inside bag might be a good idea.
