Alot of people seem to be posting about their dissatisfaction with Kingsfords current packaging. I understand charcoal is sold cheap and takes alot of area to ship and that means this item has a high freight cost. This means you must keep the manufacturing and packaging process simple and cheap to keep it proffitable. But a reusable, refillable container that consumers can purchase to dump their charcoal into that integrates many of the features that people have posted sounds like something worth Clorox looking into.

To clarify my Kingsford package design:
My packaging design as posted is NOT a reusable, refillable container because it would be costly. Perhaps my diagram is somewhate confusing. It was a mock-up after all.
Rather, my packaging design would be manufactured with the same durable paper material so the weight remains the same. The boxier shape, string opener, sturdy bag mouth with an attached, re-closable flip top are the significant and new characteristics.
