Clorox currently has a toilet bowl wand. Since this product worked so well for cleaning toilets, I decided to use it to clean my shower. The product works great for cleaning showers. There are many long handled tools on the market that can be used for cleaning a shower but none have a disposable cleaning pad that contains the cleaner. The products most highly advertised for cleaning showers and tubs are for products such as Scrubbing Bubbles that come in a spray can. The product advertising indicates that all one has to do is spray the shower with the product, let it stand for a few minutes and rinse and the shower will be clean. Spraying the shower with product and rinsing will not and does not automatically clean the shower.

 

First, and most importantly, when spraying the product from a can, no matter how carefully it is sprayed, residual spray winds up on the body of the person spraying the product. This is tremendously unhealthy.

 

My vision of the Clorox Shower Wand would be similar to the Toilet Bowl Wand. However, the Shower Wand would be better equipped if it had a longer handle and a larger disposable cleaning pad than the Toilet Bowl Wand. The convenience of having a Clorox Shower Cleaning Wand with a disposable pad would be awesome and eliminate the back-spray of the shower cleaning products on today's market and truly clean the shower.

 

One additional suggestion would be for Clorox to provide a cleaning pad that has a more pleasant smell than the current Clorox Toilet Bowl Wand.

 

This product would have great market potential. It would be located in the cleaning product aisles in stores such as WalMart and Target. The need for replacement pads would provide a continuous market for the Clorox Shower Wand.

 

This would be a relatively easy product for Clorox to develop due to already having the Toilet Bowl Wand to use as the prototype.
