    Title of Your Idea:
    Windshield Cleaning Liquid
    What's Your Idea?:

I'm always on the look-out for a green windshield cleaning liquid.  I have experimented and mixed my own, but it's not very convenient and I go through a lot of it quickly.  I would like to have a green concentrate that I can add to the gallon bottle or pour right into the cleaner reservoir then add water.  Another handy format would be a tablet that I could drop into a gallon bottle of water or drop into the cleaner reservoir then add the water.  I would like to have ingredients that are environmentally safe because when I clean my windshield, the liquid is dispersed into the atmosphere, probably lands on other vehicles, and ends up on the ground and into our watershed.  Thank you for considering my Green Idea!Cool

Hi Cathy! How are you today? Thank you for the question! In a dissolving tablet form, I would like to see the tablets come in a tube of about 10 or 12 tablets or in a very simple bag, and I would like to see the tube or bag made out of sustainable fiber. Considering that the tablet needs to be kept from moisture, it could be suggested on the fiber tube that the tablets should be stored at home in a water-tight container. I save and reuse plastic containers so I have plenty of them to use for the tablets. Maybe a peel-off label can be used on the tube so that the plastic container can be easily marked. If the cleaner is in a liquid concentrate form, I would like to have a bottle that is easy to dispense from. A squirt top like dish soap would work for me. I would like to move away from a plastic bottle, but use of a recyclable plastic would be good, too. If the cleaner is pre-mixed in immediate-use form, I would like to have a gallon or 3 liter plastic bottle. The more cleaner you can sell at once to me, the better. It would be good to provide a spout that helps to pour or a funnel to avoid waste of product. I think the tablets are the most eco-friendly and efficient idea, and the one that would be compact to purchase, store and use. I measured my Nissan's cleaner reservoir opening and it is 3 1/2 inches or about 8 centimeters. The tablet or ball should be made to fit in the car reservoir or into a gallon jug for mixing and pouring. I am just amazed when I think about how much windshield cleaner is used just in my family. I think this product could have a very positive effect on the environment. It gives me a feeling that it would be safe for me to handle, too. I hope I have helped you understand this idea. Please let me know if you need more details. Much success with your projects! Suzy
