My idea is a Clorox foam washing machine cleaner. Spray the interior of the washing machine with foam cleaner. It changes color when clean. Run the washer to rinse.

What an awesome idea! Love it. How often do you clean your washing machine? How long do you anticipate foam to change color? Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks Cathy! I probably clean it evey few months or so. I would anticipate the color change to take about 15 minutes. I'm not really sure though. I guess it depends on the cleaner and the concentration of foam.
I propose a product in pod form like my suggestion green works, or another product in development that can foam and change color when washmachine is cleaner.I also suggest to let it soak awhile before allowing it to complete the washing cycle. I believe not all the build-up and scum will be gone after going through complete washing cycles. I would place a scrubber with the pods. The clorox product like green works in pod form will make the job easier to clean with the scrubber. I always believe to package addtional items together, the consumer will believe they are getting more for their money. I would package maybe 4pods together with the scrubber.
Thanks for your thoughts! My reasoning behind the foam was so it could cling to the build up for a period of time to loosen it so it could either be wiped off or rinsed away. I'm not sure the pod would work as well as they would have to be dissolved in a washer filled with water and then soaked. The pods would have to be a very concnetrated solution in that case. The foam would begin working immediately.
Maybe both product forms should be developed! Foam for deep cleaning and pods for regular maintenance cleaning? What do you think? Thank you for your feedback!
