Who doesn't hate when you're out and you have to end up using a public toilet? You just never know who was sitting on that toilet before you or the toilet is covered in urine. Yuck! And, those little seat covers just aren't enough to make me feel safe. This is my !DEA....Let's put a disinfectant spray machine in each bathroom stall. It would be filled with disinfecting spray that would come out of a hose that would reach the toilet and you would be able to spray a certain amount to clean the toilet. You could set it up so the businesses would buy the machines and you could also charge 25 cents per use and only a certain amount would be dispensed per usage.
I hope this !DEA takes off...because I sure would pay to use the all new disinfecting bathroom machine!

Thank you for sharing. Yes, no one wants yucky public toilet! Let's build up your idea further. Do you want the disinfecting spray to spray the toilet seat itself or the whole bathroom stall? Do you want disinfecting spray to be scented? I am still unclear on where you will put the disinfecting spray in the stall. Can you please do a quick drawing? Thank you very much!

I have added a rough sketch of the disinfecting machine. I hope this will help you to see my vision. You mentioned different smells and that sounds fantastic. It would be great to add different smells such as, lemon, lavender, fresh linen, and even fun scents for the holiday seasons. The possibilities are endless.
Even for non germaphobes this idea would be nice, but imagine how many more people, who are afraid of germs, will be more willing to use a public toilet when they're out and about.

Thank you very much! Picture really speaks thousands of words. What do you think of the disinfecting machine can automatic wipe and clean the toilet seat after it gets sprayed, wouldn't it be even better? I don't know about charging to use the disinfecting machine. I am thinking it can definitely cut the fee to pay a janitor or cleaning service.

A janitor or cleaning service comes in and cleans once or twice a day...but this machine would be for the customers to use. How many times have you gone into a public restroom and there is urine or feces on the toilet? This machine would be for our use to be able to disinfect the toilet immediately and be able to use it without fear of what could possibly be in the urine or feces. I have had to wipe off the urine or feces with toilet paper and then put toilet paper on the seats and sit down. Wiping off the urine or feces with toilet paper doesn't kill any germs and it certainly doesn't remove all of it. I feel that this machine would revolutionize the way public restrooms are used. They already put condom machines and tampon machines in public restrooms and charge for those...why not for a machine that would clean off the urine and feces before they sit down on the toilet? A janitor or cleaning service is certainly not going to go in and clean the toilet after each person uses it. This would be for those inbetween times when the toilets become caked in urine or feces...or even blood for that matter. The company doesn't have to charge for usage of this machine...I was only thinking that it might help the idea take off for the companies if they were able to compensate for the cost of the machines and for the refills they would have to buy.

Ok, I think a machine for customers is way too extreme. I would rather have a Potty Pack to carry in my purse. This way I could us a Disinfecting Wipe before me or my child uses the public bathroom. After using the wipe, you can wash your hands at the public sink and use hand sanitizer. This "potty pack" could be used on changing tables or any other surface you might need to use in a public restroom.
