, last edited April 2, 2012My idea is to package a plastic tool that can be used to scrape unpleasant black mold around tub area or sink. The plastic tool on the other end would have a shape to make new caulking groove. This tool would be packaged with CLOROX Clean-UP with bleach & a small durable plastic brush.A brush strong enough to get rid of small fragments of bad caulking. A instruction sheet with hints on avoiding black mold and applying fresh caulking. I would say to make sure area is cleaned with CLOROX CLEAN-Up before applying fresh caulking, make sure area is dry, suggest using hair dryer to dry area.I would also propose to say not to use area for several hours to allow fresh cauking to dry throughly.

Thank you. Sounds like you are an expert in removing black mold in the bathroom. How often do you clean black mold out of your bathroom?

Actually it's my husband"s bathroom that has the black mold. He seems to always use it too soon, before the caulking dries throughly. The same problem develops over again. I have no idea the reason he doesn't use my bathroom. We want to have the area where mold forms taken out and new walls put in that don't have caulking showing.Have done some remodeling so I am aware of reason for mold forming on wet caulking.
Thank you very much for your great tip! I believe your idea of black mold caulking removal kit will definitely become handy!
