    Title of Your Idea:
NEW GLAD kitchen bags with fabreeze AND BAKING SODA STRIPs!! *** :)
    What's Your Idea?:

My idea is to incorporate a baking soda strip around the top of the bag, like a ring, that would be placed about 3 inches from the top of the bag.  it would rest right around the top, inside of your trash can, and i hear baking soda is the best at eliminating odors!! this would deffinately be a best seller especially because you wouldn't have to worry about changing your box of baking soda in your pantry. and also i was doing some research and maybe you could come up with a way to keep the trash bags cool inside because odors desperse and rise in heat much quicker than in cool places. remember people...NO ONE LIKES A STINKY TRASH CAN!! :)

What an innovative idea!   Thanks for sharing. Yes, no one likes a stinky trash can!  Have you thought about how to keep baking soda strip sticks to the trash bag?  Maybe the baking soda stirp can be removed and replaced with new one before the trash is full?  What do you think?  Thank you for your feedback!

We like your idea so much that we marked it as our favorite of the week (see the front page at www.cloroxconnects.com to see it highlighted).

i like the idea of a removable strip, but i was thinking that it would be made into the bags just like the red pull tie is. that way the consumers wouldn't have to worry about putting one on, or changing it. they could also be sold separately for other bags and they could be adhesive and maybe in a roll so you could cut off the size you need. AND they could be used for other things!! AND maybe change color when they have been soiled enough. just an idea you gave me Cathy liu!! thanks! -Sierra

Wow... I love the options!  I like the idea that the baking soda strip can be inclusive, removable, selling as a roll and change color when it is soiled!

      Hi Evelyn & Cathy,

Actually that is a pretty inovative idea, because I am always having to throw my trash out at half full because it stinks up the house even with the lid on it. I like your idea. I am going to add upon your idea by suggesting that a breathable 5"x5" square clothlike matterial filled with baking soda (that would be baking soda spill proof) be made and sold under your brand that we can purchase to lay down at the bottom of our kitchen trash cans.

I have noticed that no matter how often I change my trash bags there is always a funky older that is at the bottom of my trash disposal. Having a breathable cotton/paper placemat filled with baking soda that I put in the bottom of all my trash containers would be something I would purchase. It is something I could easily replace with a new one every three months. Thus far I have been pouring a little bit of Fabeloso or Pine Sole at the bottom of my kitchen trash can to fight the odors every time I change the bag. The soda idea is much more convienant. Whether the baking soda be sold inside each liner or in a seperately sold breathable placemat or both ways - it sure would beat pouring the messy powder in the trash can and having to mess with cleaning it up each time it needs to be refreshed!

      Good luck.

      Kind regards,

      Charles Underwood Cool

      Charles,

What a wonderful add-on product.  Thank you for sharing a great idea!  I also have problem with that funky odor at the bottom of my trash can!

Awesome!!!!  This is the one that stood out the most for me.  It is easy and convenient!  I hate the smell of the trash so much it makes me throw up, I am not kidding.  I have to wear a mask!  When/where can I get my hands on this product!!!!!!

Please make it available soon, I will be the first one to buy a few dozen!!!
