    Title of Your Idea:
    Spray foam for mattress cleaning
    What's Your Idea?:

The most undercleaned item in the house is the mattress. We sleep on it every night and it is never cleaned. Why not market a spray foam cleaner that could sanitize the outer layer of a mattress.

This is an intriguing idea! Do you currently use any mattress protection?  Dust mite cover? After you spray foam cleaner to the mattress, do you anticipate to wipe it with cloth?  Please advise.

The spray foam idea would be to save time and not have to wait long for the mattress to dry after wiping it down so you could make up the bed soon after cleaning.  I looked into buying an ultraviolet sanitizing wand for the purpose of sanitizing furniture but the time involved to actually disinfect a mattress was too great using this tool.

So you want something that disinfects the surface and quickly dries afterwards without wiping.  Interesting!  How often do you anticipate to use this product?  Every time you make your bed? change cover sheet?  Thank you for your feedback.

Here are some other ideas for mattress cleaners:

civicchick25 wants an absorbing sponge and a spray that would sanitize the mattress as well as get rid of the smell of urine

summerdays wishes for a Clorox treated mattress cover would be great for home and travel

Do you need you mattress cleaner has odor control function?  And how about a mattress over?  Thank you for your feedback.

      YES!

BEST CLOROX IDEA I HAVE READ!

Thank you Migrator for sharing you idea, because I totally relate to you on my fustration on washing bed sheets but knowing my mattress never gets cleaned. I am sure mine has lots of dust mites, but Cathy, I would never be interested in purchasing a dust mite cover, too much hastle and probably unreliable in my opinion. Undecided

The idea of going to Wal-Mart and purchasing a bottle of spray that would kill dust mites on contact on my mattress and also freshen it is totally something I would buy the next time I am at the store. I would use every time I wash my sheets. For me, I wash my sheets once a month, but I am a pretty clean person. lol! Wink

GREAT IDEA!! NEEDS TO BE DEVELOPED!! MARKET SHOULD ACCEPT THIS WELL, AN TV ADVERTISEMENT WOULD DO WELL TO ANNOUNCE IT.

      Kind regards,

      Charles Underwood
