What an excellent idea!  We like this one so much we made it the Idea of the Week (see the front page at www.cloroxconnects.com to see it highlighted).

Do you encounter this inconvenience often (the need for diaper disposal)?  Do you imagine the baggie to be in a zip locked? Want to see any graphic on the bag?  Help us to develop your idea further by providing more insights!  Thank you!!

I've encountered this problem on quite a few occasions. One time I was in the examination room with my daughter waiting for the pediatrician to come in for a regular visit- baby girl pooped while I was waiting and I had to change her but for obvious reasons (she was already undressed and if I didn't know how long it would be before they emptied the trash) could not dispose of the dirty diaper in the tiny examination room. The doctor gave me a latex glove to stash it in until I could properly dispose of it.

Another time I was about to go in to get my 5 yr old from school and as we sat in the car, baby girl pooped again (huge mess). I changed her in the back seat since I didn't want the poop to ooze out as I lifted her up to go with me to get her big brother. But I didn't have a plastic bag handy in the car or anywhere to throw the diaper and didn't want to take it in with me to throw it out in the school bathroom. I just secured it as best as I could and put it on the floor mat. We had to smell it all the way home- yuck! Longest 15 minutes of our lives-lol

I could share more but those 2 stand out in my mind- a baby will poop in the most inconvenient places!

I could see these diaper baggies as a little cinch sack but I guess a ziplock would work just as well. I could see it with a caution sign and a cute saying so people don't confuse it with their lunch or some other cute design.

Thank you for sharing with us your experiences with stinky diapers!  They sure reminded me of good old days when I needed to deal with diapers.  Smile

Have you tried carrying small Glad zip-lock bag inside your diaper bag/purse?  Wonder if the zip-lock block out the diaper's scent or you prefer the bag itself is scented to mask diaper's scent?

A slight tweaking of a small ziplock with freshscent/odor absorbing and cute design or graphic would be just the thing.
