Clorox
Would you please make a hand held pot/sink scrubber that is not to harsh for coated pans but tough enough to get stickys out of the pans or bowls?
I always reach for my handled sponge/scrubber to wipe out bowls or pans before loading them into the dishwasher!
My thought here is why not use your same idea you use with your clorox fresh care hand towels that activate with the clorox when you wash them to eliminate the smells and bacteria!
Why not do the same in the form of a hand held scrubber? In the cloth form but in mop loops or something to that extent.
With a handle that could be removed so it could be thrown in your washer sort of like a mop is or in the dishwasher like I do with many of my sponges and scrubbers.
I am constantly buying a new one trying to find the right one and can never seem to come across it!
They either break or are disposable sponge ones and I would much rather pay a few extra dollars for one that I can keep and rewash!
And while you are at that you can make a dishwasher tablet with clorox in it! Its a double whammy!
Thanks for your great Products!

Thanks so much for sharing a great idea! Let's build up your idea further. How often do you throw your current sponge and scrubber into dishwasher? What shape and size do you imagine this reusable scrubber be? It is not clear to me what you meant by "with a handle that could be removed". Are you saying there should be a cloth scrubber/sponge that is attached to the handle? Thanks for answering these questions. They help the product development team to understand your need.

I usually throw it in when I start smelling the stench of it or if it just looks icky from cleaning plates or pots and pans.
I would say on average about every 3-4 dishwasher washings.
I imagine the shape of this scrubber being more in a flexible rounded loose shape. I would say not more than 2 inches in diameter as you would want to be able to use it for inside your glasses or even baby bottles! I would make the handle similar to that of slight curved design for comfort and ease of use.
The scrubber itself i would make out of the same material you make your clorox fresh care towels. I don't know if you would want a tighter loop or looser loop such as a mop style. I vision it as being small cut pieces of cloth all bundled on one end.
I will explain it like this I guess and hope it gets the idea across!
Take one of your fresh care towels cut it into small 1"x1/4" strips bundle all these strips together into a 1inch dia at one end. At this end the handle can either slide through and attach with the clip or be attached to some other mechanism that can be slid on and off the handle to ease the ability of removal. Its rather hard to explain in words!!!!
I would use a pin clip to attach it to the handle so that can be popped right out and slid off of the handle and thrown in the washing machine with clorox. (Similiar to that of a rag mop) Until a dishwasher tablet is made by clorox (then the whole kit n kaboodle could just go in)

Dear kthwwq,
All your comments and ideas have been entered to my!DEA drawing for a chance to win up to $1,000! Thank you so much for sharing. I am still digesting your idea. Do you currently wash Clorox Frexh Care Towels using washing machine? One thing we have to figure up with your idea is once this sink/pot scrubber has been washed, how does it refill with Clorox bleach gel. Or should it be a disposable item? Can you do a quick sketch on how the handle/attachment piece should look like? It would be extremely helpful!!

No I would no make it refillable at all! My suggestion was to be able to use it like the clorox towels to keep the smell and bacteria away when you wash the towels with clorox and they come out nice and fresh and clean and don't get that stinky smell after sitting on your sink for a few days because they have been washed with clorox right?
So why not do the same with the scrubber but more in a bunched up ball form made out of the same material as your clorox fresh towels?
Handle or no handle thats debatable. I don't like using refillable handles because I fill as though I waste the liquuid soap. I just want a scrubber that will last more than a month and won't break on me! I either end up breaking the handle or wearing the sponge part out! and I don't necessarily care for the plastic bristle kind either! I made a slight sketch of my idea I hope it helps!
THanks!

Thank you so much for the clarification! I think the drawing speaks a million words in explaining your idea. We like your idea so much that we marked it as our favorite of the week (see the front page at www.cloroxconnects.com to see it highlighted).
