Mold & Mildew FighterI make my own cleaner and fighter for mold and mildew. For some reason our white vinyl siding has areas of mold and mildew. I use an empty spray bottle, a little dish detergent, and clorox. Spray the house with it use the brush and it comes off. I don't have to worry about killing any plants since there is stone there and I don't want plants growing there anyway.
Febreeze scented wipes.One of the things my entire household appreciates is convenience and scents. As a Mom I'm concerned with germs. I find myself spraying lysol...wiping things down with clorox wipes, lighting candles or replacing plug in's all the time. I asked my olded daughter while she was cleaning her white board with a clorox wipe. What do you think they could do to improve those...her answer...make them smell better. Makes sense.

- Refreshing your air conditioner for summer
Behind or to the side of your furnace you will have a box with a hose connected to it from your furnace. It is an overflow unit with a hose leading to the exterior of your basement that directs the excess water from your air-conditioner so it does not run onto your basement floor. Lift the small cap on the unit and gently pour into the box one cup of Clorox bleach and replace the cap. When it is time to turn your A/C on the bleach will have freshen the unit and it then flushes thru the hose and removes any clogs in the hose going outdoors. Simple and Easy.

All you have to do is poor vinegar into a spray bottle and you are ready to go. YES!!! The smell can be unpleasant, but it doesn't last long and it's safe to inhale. Use it every day after you shower and prevent mold from building up in the first place.

,My Idea to avoid mold is to create a longhandle brush,with a bottle attached on the bottom of brush.The handle would be sturdy and hollow so water could go through it and mix with clorox product.(Safe FOR ALL PLANTS) This CLOROX RAPID RELEASE BRUSH would be used to clean vinyl siding on houses,garages and storage sheds.I would like to see a NEW CLEANING PRODUCT developed to clean the vinyl siding on house but safe for animals and plants that are around outside of homes.In this day and age we have to think about ecology making products safe outdoors for our animals and plants.

I have found that you can use Clorox and hot water with a brush to remove mold and prevent it from coming back.
