, tagged favorite, innovation image in my Clorox® idea > New Ideas publicWhat is it that everyone is using? Cellphones,ipods,ipads,ebooks,tablets,mp3 etc are the electronics of choice. My idea has to do with getting rid of bacterial germs on electronics.I think because so many people are using them they are passing germs around. They go into bathrooms for privacy but there's a lot of bacterial germs in there. They wash there hands yet, what about their electronics like cell phones?I read that 56% of people use cell phones, but there not santize them.Noone thinks to clean there cellphones or santize them. That's where my idea comes in ,to have a clorox dispenser in all bathrooms, including those at home. Clorox Wipes dispenser would aid in getting rid of harmful bacteria carry from one person to another. I think each sheet should come out dry so that one needs to dampen an activate the clorox infuesd in each sheet.

I wish there were a bottle cap filter to pop on to my water bottle ... or even on to a bottle of wine (for wine to pass thru while pouring).

My iidea has to do with small neck Bottles like Hidden Valley & Masterpiece marinade and barbeque sauce..I'd like to see a long-handle ,narrow to enter bottles at opening about, half inch.wide.,with a small spoon area at one end.The spoon area would also have to be narrow enough to enter the bottle.A pet peeve I have is leaving the bottom of bottle with another serving or two because ,I'm unable to get the sauce ,marinade or hidden valley out of the bottle. This could be packaged with the bottle,s if made out of plastic it would probablybe cheaper then using silicone. It would probably cost a few cents to make once the form is made.
"Research has indicated that skin absorption of contaminants in municipal water has been underestimated and that ingestion may not constitute the sole or even primary route of exposure. In addition to penetration of contaminants through the skin to the body as a whole, the contaminants can adversely affect the skin itself. Chlorine chemically bonds with proteins in the hair, skin and scalp."
As consumer awareness increases - we can expect an increased demand for shower water filtration. Why wouldn't the largest brand in home water filtration take advantage of this tremendous growth opportunity?
My idea is to make a Brita pet water bowl for my pampered pets. So they can have clean water that taste the way it should.

, tagged favorite, under consideration in my Brita® idea > New Ideas publicMy idea is to combine the designs of the Brita pitchers and Brita bottle to create a hybrid bottle/pitcher. The Brita bottle is nice since it is portable and you can drink directly from the container. However, I like that the pitcher filters the water when it enters the container rather than when it leaves the container as occurs with the bottle. Also, the pull-up lid on the bottle can wear out over time and some days the bottle isn't big enough.
First, the bottle/pitcher would have two openings. One opening to fill the bottle with unfiltered water, and a second opening that you can drink out of or pour into a cup. There would be a chamber in the bottle similar to the current Brita pitchers where the water is filtered. This way, you have filtered water available rather than filtering it each time you drink out of the bottle. The one-liter bottles are very popular and a great size to keep at your desk at work, so that would probably be a good size for the bottle/pitcher.

, tagged favorite, innovation image in my Brita® idea > New Ideas publicMy idea would be a water thermos for my car, made by Britta, w/a tiny water filtering system within, so anytime I am out and about I would be able to fill the thermos and be assured that the water would be safe. The thermos could come with disposable insert filters that would screw into the bottom. I often have to forgo drinking water because I am unsure of its safety. A Britta water bottle would put my mind at ease.

I must say how wonderful the personal water bottle filtration system is! I love my new water bottle and my water intake has increased dramatically from it...but, it could be increased even further!
